    Subcatchment and land use plan

    Hello all,

I have a Land Use file in dgn format(Microstation) with all the polygons in one level and the population density in another level.
I just want to know if there is any waythat I could import the Land Use file as a subcatchment polygon into the InfoWorks CS?

    Thank you very much

It should be possible to create the subcatchments from the .dgn files.

With a checked out network open you should be able to go to the network menu and select "import data from autocad dwg". Here there will be an option to select the files and then specify the layer to be imported as polygons. Once they are in as polygons you will be able to export/import as subcatchments.

In order to get the population densities either do this manually or convert the dwg in GIS first, should you choose the GISoption you will be able to adapt the subcatchments dirctly without using the first steps.
