Create a selection set water distribution system

Hello! I am new to the Infowater world and need to create a selection set (or something different) for some junctions and assign the most updated demands we have for those junctions. How can I do that?

    Thank you.

    Adriana,

Selection sets can be useful ways of selecting elements that are not always easy to select via a standard query or that would traditionally require multiple queries and a query set to identify. Thus, a selection set in essence is just a list of element ID's that can be saved quickly and quickly added back to a domain. However, selection sets are not dynamic like a query but are essentially a simple list of element ID's. Here is how one can create a selection set or update a selection set within InfoWater.

To create a selection set (a selection set is simply a group of elements you wish to save) we would recommend the following steps:
    1) it is often easiest to start by clearing the domain
    2) Select the the Enlarge Domain Icon
    3) Then manually select the elements you wish to save as a selection set into your active domain. (Note if you are updating your selection set you may first wish to add your existing selection set to the domain and then edit the domain until it represents the elements you wish to save in the selection set.)
    4) Open the Domain Manager
    5) Select "Selection Set" as the element source
    6) Choose the "..." button opposite the Selection Set
    7) Create a new selection set if needed (not required if already created)
    8) Select the Selection Set you wish to populate with the current domain so that it is highlighted in Blue
    9) Use the Load Domain button to replace the current selection set list with the current domain. (choose "YES" when the message that asks if you wish to overwrite the selection set with the current domain)
    Overwrite selection set.png

This will save (or update your selection set) so you can use the domain manager to quickly add these elements into the domain.
