Lightbulb Representation of hole cored into pipe

We have recently received data from a CSO survey that shows the continuation pipe with a 225mm hole cored into the bottom of the pipe. The flows drop down this hole into a deeper sewer with flows conveyed downstream.

Has anyone any experience in the best way to represent this 225mm "hole"

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks

    Hello,
You might model the hole as vertical pipe, an orifice, weir, head/discharge curve based on a node or break node place at the location of the hole and let the flow drop to the deeper sewer.
