Ruby script and GIS export
Hi,
I was wondering is there ICM ruby function or command available which is equivalent to Network\Export\to MIF or any other GIS format. I would like to export all tables in network to GIS format (ArcGIS or MapInfo) using ruby script. Though, Open Data Export Centre is available, but it supports export one table at a time.
Can somebody help.
Regards,
Sunil

Hi Sunil,
Would right clicking on the model network in the explorer window and choosing Export> To MIF, TAB, or SHP not give you what you are after? Doing this lets you choose which (or all) of the tables associated with the model you want to export:

You should be able to do this using Ruby with the ‘GIS_export’ method. This will allow you to export the network (or part of) to a GIS format without using the ODEC.
