Adding a storage node to a river reach section - and throttling back into river reach
Hello all,
I'm new to modelling river sections and have been trying to quickly model storage in a river in the form of a storage node, connecting back into the river via an orifice allowing for a defined discharge rate back to the river.
Treating the river reach like a conduit I suppose, I tried to break the river reach 'link' with a storage node and throttle but this seems to have thrown up a lot of errors.
Is this an acceptable (quick and easy way) to add storage to a river bed or is there a better / more accepted way of doing this.
I'm using ICM v 7
Many thanks,
Aby
