    Pressure Loss - InfoWater

Losing pressure in a portion of the system that is between an upstream Booster pump station and the Treatment plant downstream of it. (See attached) AREA.JPG Initially after leaving the booster station the pressure is fine then reached a point where it loses pressure (the area between the two purple areas is the area that is losing pressure) I have checked for closed valves/pipes, demand data and turned on all pumps at the booster station. Nothing changed the area of pressure loss. Any other suggestions on what I can check to help determine why the pressure loss is happening?

Follow the head at nodes and the headloss in pipes from the area where it is acceptable to where it drops off. You should be able to see which pipes are causing the headloss this way and can find out what happened. I would look for small diameter pipes or pipes with a large minor loss as possible causes or that you have a cross tie between pressure zones resulting in a large pipe flow and large headloss.
