Does Innovyze ever release a detailed changelog or "what new" when new versions of software are released? It would be nice to know what new features are available and what bugs have been fixed. The press releases that accompany a new version are almost useless for this.
Bentley provides a very nice visual summary when WaterCAD/GEMS is updated.

Thank you for your post here on the Innovyze Forum.
Innovyze does not currently publishing change logs associated with each update on a public webpage but Innovyze does log all changes made with each update on an internal secure web page and in internal emails documenting upcoming releases so that our support team and sales staff are aware of changes and fixes that have been made. If you ever wish to check on a specific feature request or if something has been updated a quick email to support@innovyze.com or a call to our support line at +1-626-568-6869 or call your regional CSM and we can confirm any update questions you may have for a particular software package. This is also probably the easiest and fastest way to get this information when desired.
However, for the changes specific to Version 12 there will be an upcoming post on our blog page with more specific details regarding what is included in the new version. I will update the link here once that blog is posted.
As far as feature requests go the best ways to make a feature request would be to one of the following:
1) Contact your regional CSM from Innovyze and let them know of a new feature request
2) Send an email to support@innovyze.com with Feature Request in the subject line followed by a brief description of the feature. Example: "Feature Request - Adding a Test Report".
Feature request emails are typically forwarded on to the development team who go through a process to review feature requests and make the final decisions on which requested features are able to get implemented in the software.
If you ever have a question on a particular feature or believe a particular feature may not be working as it should please contact us directly at support@innovyze.com or a call to our support line at +1-626-568-6869. One of our support staff will get back with you and investigate the issue. Any issues identified are verified locally by that support team member to confirm if there is indeed a software issue and to detail what features need to be reviewed for the development team. The Support staff member will keep you informed of progress and will send you a fix directly once a fix is identified. This will be in advance of the next update which will include any fixes completed since the last update, so that your issue is resolved as soon as possible.

Just to follow up with further information,
Every major update to the software includes a description of the latest changes to the software.
If you open the Help file of a new version (you should have gotten a help file update after updating a major version)
In the help file select to view by Contents.
One of the first sections of the help file is generally "What's New".
In this section it includes hyperlinks that document the major feature changes that are associated with each major version. See below for an Example screenshot from InfoWater. Simply click on the hyperlink of interest to see the major changes associated with that version.

I have seen that section in the help, but it isn't all that useful since it isn't updated in time with the major releases, and is often incomplete.
For example, when 12.3 was released, I checked to see what was new, but there was no section for 12.3. For 12.3 Update 1, there are now 6 features listed for 12.3, but not all of the new features are included, and there is no mention of any bug fixes (I know there was at least 1). I would rather see something like this that lists all new features, improved features, and fixes, for every update, major and minor:

I imagine something like this would not be too difficult to generate since you already log all changes on your internal web page.
It's not a big deal, but would be a nice feature and would help your customers have more confidence in your software.

It would be great (as implied by Cricks) if licenced users could somehow be given direct access to latest ver of changes&updates log. This would ALSO HELP INNOVYZE as then those that are affected/know about a particular issue are likely to provide a 'free' early testing/verification service.

BTW- Anyone on the technical support team can help users explain the changes or updates as well if you have any difficulty connecting with your CSM.
We will also pass on your suggestion of potentially having a select group of our most trusted and experienced users have additional access and or feedback on product releases. The one difficulty might be that it might require some type of special arrangements and/or some type of potential confidentiality agreements somewhat to address potential intellectual property concerns. If that could be satisfied and such a group was valuable to our users, it could be very useful and valuable for both the modelers ( to better understand the software and how to use it and to feel like they had a way to share feedback) and Innovyze (for continual software and feature improvements and trusted user feedback).
