When opening a bank line or cross-section, it would be helpful for the actual data to open up immediately - what else would you be interested in? You might conceivably only want to change the name of a line, but most of the time it's because you want to see (and possibly edit) what's there, so I would find it better for that window to open up straight away rather than have to click on the "section data" field. You can always close it if you don't need it.

And it would be useful to be able to expand the survey points part of the window to see more points - changing the dialog size expands the cross-section part, but not the data part.
