ICM - is the 2D model always dynamic?
I would like to know if the 2D model in ICM is always solving the dynamic wave equations. The "sim parameters" seems not to have any condition related with this, but is there any case where ICM consider a 2D simplified model?

The only way to simplify the 2D component would be to increase the momentum threshold in the 2D parameters. This would mean that the momentum part of the 2D calculations are not undertaken and therefore only conservation of mass will be accounted for.

InfoWorks ICM 2D
Thanks Duncan for the very interesting post. It shows how flexible InfoWorks ICM 2D is in its numerical solution.
